• 3x points on travel, shipping, internet, cable, phone services, and advertising purchases (up to $150,000 annually)
• Primary car insurance, and perks including cellphone and purchase protection
• Points can be transferred 1:1 to travel partners

If you have other Chase cards like the Chase Freedom Flex®, Freedom Unlimited®, or Ink Business Cash®, you can still earn points, but you’ll need to pair them with one of the premium cards listed above to unlock transfer capabilities. You can combine points between your cards and then transfer them.

How to Transfer Chase Points to Travel Partners

The transfer process is quick and easy — here’s a step-by-step walkthrough:

• 1: Log in to your Chase account. Go to chase.com/ultimaterewards and log in to the account associated with your Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, or Ink Preferred.

• 2: Select the Travel dropdown and then select “Transfer points to partners.”

• 3: You’ll see a list of Chase’s airline and hotel partners. Choose the program you want to transfer to. There are also tabs across the top to narrow down the list. The “Enrolled” section will display partners you have already transferred to.

• 4: You will see an “Offers” tab that will display all the current transfer bonus partners. Transfer bonuses are promotional offers that allow you to transfer your points at a more favorable rate.
  
  For example, the bonus below will increase your ratio from 1:1 to 1:1.8, giving you 80% more IHG miles per Chase point. This is a great deal if you have an IHG stay coming up!

• 4: If you haven’t linked your airline or hotel loyalty account yet, you’ll need to do that first. Make sure the names match exactly to avoid issues. The name on the Chase card must match the name on the loyalty account.

• 5: Transfers must be done in increments of 1,000 points. Enter how many you want to send and click “Next”.

• 6: Review the transfer. Double check everything, and hit “Submit”, and you’re done! You will receive a confirmation screen that your transfer is in progress and 2 emails, one that your transfer is in progress, and another when it’s complete.

Note: Once points are transferred, it’s a one-way street — you can’t reverse it. Only transfer when you have a specific redemption in mind.
